Tala Shannak writes dark, atmospheric fiction about sleepy cities and the things lurking in their shadows.
She is an undergraduate at the University of Houston, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering (which qualifies as an extreme sport). When she is not writing, Tala is building rockets, consuming far too much coffee than physically possible, and, as always, is dreaming up eerie settings and scribbles of mayhem for the next story.
